Ever since I can remember art has played a momentous role in my life. Art allows me to wordlessly speak things that could otherwise not be understood. Imagination is the passion ingrained in me that bursts through my pores, and it is this passion that drives me to make this my livelihood.
My journey in graphic design began as an intern at Pheasants Forever, where I honed my skills in critiquing layouts, designing various materials, and collaborating closely with clients. This foundation set the stage for my role at Novus Glass, where I started as an intern and worked my way up to be the lead designer of the US on the world team. I took the lead on marketing campaigns, created impactful promotional materials, managed social media channels, and advised on events. For our trade shows I made large scale graphics, banners, and displays designed for our annual Vegas show and conference.
My story continued at Purecare, where I not only crafted email campaigns, but was our team lead for email, analyzing performance, scheduling sends and optimizing my designs. Here I became the point person for web updates and design, creating landing pages, web promotions, and updating our home page. Additionally I designed store buildouts, product packaging, and social media videos, while also delving into product photography.
Through these experiences, I developed a keen ability to understand brand identity, apply cultural trends, and maintain consistency. My strength lies in design construction, where I seamlessly blend research, inspiration, and a visionary instinct to produce polished, high-standard designs.
Outside of my professional design work, I immerse myself in my passion for illustration and manage a small business where I create illustrations and hand-bind sketchbooks and notebooks. These endeavors provide me with additional creative inspiration, enriching my day-to-day design projects with fresh ideas and perspectives.
